Generate missing exchange rates with last available

Hi Experts,

Please can you assist me with the following.

I have a currency table that I read with a valid from date. This gets updated daily, however, it doesn't update over weekends and public holidays. I want to fill in the gaps, with the last rate available. IE. For Saturday, I want to use Friday's rate, or Thursday's rate, if Friday was a public holiday.

Please see attached example of data.

Hi Tamil,

Thanks this is perfect, just need it to fetch the rate the other way around, IE, your script fetches rate for 4/5 March by using 6 March rate, I want to use 3 March rate?

This possible?

Hi Wynand,

The script which I have attached is fetching the 3rd March rate. Please see below screenshot. Kindly correct me if I am wrong.
