      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Team,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to open the document on access point with max month of data get selected by default on opening document first time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I dont want to do this from On open document triggers.That is breaking my other&amp;nbsp; functionality.Is there any other way to make default selection max of month dynamic on open without triggers?Any workaround is helpful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mayank&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;A little more info would help.&amp;nbsp; I don't know how an OnOpen trigger of select in field would hurt.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But if it does have you tried simply saving it with a search criteria something like&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;=max(MonthDate) &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;on your month date field?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know expressions work as search criteria and I think this 'should' work for your situation, but I haven't tested it in your exact scenario.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Create a listbox with the field you want to filter against.&amp;nbsp; And do a search like below.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It should give a result as you finish typing.&amp;nbsp; Press Enter.&amp;nbsp; (You can hide of delete the list box after if you like.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="listbox search.PNG" class="jive-image image-1" src="/legacyfs/online/162668_listbox search.PNG" style="height: auto;" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Your current selections box will show this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="currentselections.PNG" class="jive-image image-2" src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/162669_currentselections.PNG" style="height: auto;" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you save your application with this filter on, then when it gets put on the server it 'should' survive a reload and pick the most recent month.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;**Another option:&amp;nbsp; You could also save add this as a bookmark.&amp;nbsp; And then try a trigger to apply a bookmark, but that may give you the same issue you already have.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
