Configurable ODBC in QMC

Hi all,

I want to connect to PostgreSQL database for the user directory for the configurable ODBC in Directory Service Connector in QMC and for that I have used 64 bit System DSN and in the Configurable ODBC settings

I have followed the steps mentioned int he below blog

Configurable ODBC: The Documentation description

But after setting the server name and Username and Password I am getting an error

FATAL: no pg_hba.conf entry for host "IPaddress", user "user", database "db", SSL off

but using same DSN I am able to connect to the database in the Qlikview application

Please anyone can guide me through this issue,

What happens when you test the 64bit ODBC connection in Windows Admin panel? From the looks of the error, it looks like your connection is failing at the OS level. Perhaps there is a type-o in the hostname/IP
