topic only current year in QlikView

only current year

hi everyone,

i am having in my database 'YEAR' field in that it contains data records of 2009,2010,2011 and may also add extra in future i.e; 2012, 2013. But i required only current year should be displayed from 'YEAR' field in ListBox.

How can i work on it, please can anybody provide a solution to this.

HI Venkat

To reslove this issue

Go to setting ---> document properties --> triggers -->on open --> add action -->add--> selection --> selection in field --> In field Select the field Let say Year and in value --> write Year(today());

So what will happen when you restart you application then by default Current year will be selected.

To rephrase your question and understand properly, you want only current year data in your QV document or You want to select current year in list box?

hi sridhar,

in my file having a slider that has to display only current year data. The slider should look like dd-mm-yyyy of current year.

And can i place only last 30 days data in database in Slider with dd-mm-yyyy???

Please can you solve this question.
