I know that cube concept is not there in Qlik. But i need to replicate a cube from OBIEE to Qlik. My final aim is to provide a platform for the business users to directly drag and drop the fields and visualize data.

Since in obiee there is a direction of join (ie from Fact table to Dimension Tables) , it was much easier to avoid circular loops.

I have around 5 fact tables and 5 dimension tables. And all the fact tables are connected to most of the dimension tables.

In order to avoid circular loops, right now I have duplicated each dimension table seperately for each fact table. It's working fine but the issue is : while creating reports one should be sure of which duplicate dimension table is to be used.. otherwise the data will be completely wrong.

I came to know that link table is something we can work on to avoid this ...

Is there any easy method to do this?

if not , pls help me how to proceed on this.

Thanks in advance
