Thanks but they aren't the same cases...

It's not a simple comparison between periods, there is a complication due to a check on another field.

I have these data:

USER	YEAR	CODE
XX	2013	CAP
XX	2014	FR
YY	2014	FR
ZZ	2014	FR
KK	2014	WEB

I want to count new entries in 2014 with CODE "FR".

The result in this case is 2 i.e. YY and ZZ, because they are not in 2013 and they have code "FR".

KK is excluded beacuse its code is "WEB"

XX is excluded because is already in 2013.

Where's the year to start with? What should you be comparing actually, meaning, which field? How is that check on another field, which field must be compared to which? In the script or UI?

I need an expression for a text object.

Users can select just a year
