    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;There's a lot of posts on problems we have with variables being included in the Back list, but I didn't see this particular impact:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you use QlikView's Back button after updating a variable's value (even when it's a formula), Qlik undoes the value change in its internal memory and propagates the undo wherever the variable is referenced, but does not revert the updated value presented in the variable's overview or input box.&amp;nbsp; So it looks like your variable update is still in effect when you look at your code in the editor, however that's not what is being applied to the dashboard.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Changing selections, editing the value without any change, or closing &amp;amp; reopening the qvw does not change the discrepancy.&amp;nbsp; Editing with a change, even with just a space added, does re-apply the update.&amp;nbsp; Note: I'm not planning to research the outcome of all other possible user interactions.&amp;nbsp; &lt;IMG src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/emoticons/wink.png" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;v11.2 SR15&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
