Making database from qvw file.

I wanna make a Sql server database from my qlikview file. Now, I have made a job to insert data into a text file after each reload and I have made a scheduled DTS in sql server to insert the data from text file into my database.

Is there any better soloution for it?

Hi,

what are you trying to achieve? Actually (and usually) an SQL server (or database server in general) is the source and not the target of a QVW. I don't get the sense of this, as you must have the data from somewhere else and could import it from there into MSSQL...Or do you "invent" the data in QlikView?

In fact I have collcted data from many different databases such as Sqlserver and Oracle; moreover, some other data from excel sheets and flat text files. Therefore, thats a combination of many sources, and the company for which this qvw file has benn made really wants a database of it too.

thats why i need to do a kind of reverse engineering! wow
