Hi,

I have a need to launch a a QlikView document in a browser from a CRM system, defaulting to a specific account.

Having found the wonderful document: QlikView Mashup Examples & Documentation (QlikTip #48) it is perfectly possible!

One troublesome thing though is that the instance opens using the AJAX interface only, whereas my users are accustomed to using QlikView through the Internet Explorer plug-in.

I've tried adding "client=Plugin" both at the start and the end of the parameter list (the bit where there are parameter names and values, pairs separated by '&') but this has no effect.

Does anyone know how to get this type of launch working so it uses the plug-in please?

Oh, and if you've not read that article I referred to, you really had ought to. It's GREAT! It covers not just opening an entire doc and passing in selections/bookmark-to-use, but also embedding a single QlikView object in an IFrame.

Thanks.

Mark.
