Hi All,

I have a query that I am fetching the data from transaction table which fetched on daily basis and restricting the set of filters provided by business i.e. available in sheet2 as the Level is changed on 14/5/2017 from DCA to DCM ,but DCM is not available in the excel provided by the business so this data is unavailable in May data or say 14/5/2017 is missing .Is there is any way to track the change.

Means whenever the Level is change , we can track the changes using filter

Yes there are ways of tracking changes. You can keep a full history of IDs and if anyone of them goes missing at a particular date you can flag and report that. It is hard to distinguish between missing and an ID not showing due to a level that is not in the filter. So if you need this it is harder to achieve.

Could you please explain more and give us more examples of data and how it changes for each day?

Implementing "Slowly Changing Dimensions" as Varun suggest is one way of doing it. Making a limited but sufficient solution would be to keep track of the history per ID and when reading in a new spreadsheet you would compare to determine which IDs that are new, changed and which are missing and flag them accordingly.
