Exporting Excel via Export option (Button) vs Macro

Hi Geeks,

Why do we use macro to export to excel? when we have an export action under button object in Qlikview.

Is it because we can only export fields and not expression output through this option

QlikView Default export button is helpful only we need to export the entire table or object

but in case of macro on a single button click we can do multiple things for example

Export object.
append to an existing excel sheet
export all object from a container
export charts for a single or multiple bookmark in multiple sheets
export two or more table side by side. and much more we can do based on the requirement.
