Doubt in script.

Team,

Just I want to ask one doubt in the below script.in what basis the _flag_AMI_Conversion is coming one with the meter id.could you please describe anyone.

LOAD

METER_ID, //*** will join back to ODS on this field

Min([GasModuleInstall Date]) as AMI_Conversion_Date,

1 as _flag_AMI_Conversion

Resident ODS

Where not IsNull([GasModuleInstall Date])

Group by METER_ID

I would think that the flag is useful not directly in this table alone as it is always 1. But as the comment says:

//** will join back to ODS on this field

In the later join in the load script the resulting table after the join will most likely have several rows that wont match the first table and then the flag is useful for some filtering in the resulting application.
