Hello Aline,

Thank you for your input. Yes i have tried your suggestion but its too "messy" especially when we are not looking for porportion in the actual list...i see the usefulness of it but i cannot use it in this case. I will try a pivot chart and have to limit my dimensions in the trend graph to year and month. Unless the trend grpah can change its dimensions from year/month to month/week when i select weeks also....

Its a world to discover and find potential...if you have any suggestions about my latter comment, thank you very much.!

S.

Hi folks!!

I would like to know if i can narrow down info on 3 different levels in the same trend graph.

For exmaple....i have on the y axis the happiness level.

On the x axis i want to see the year, month and week. The initial view of the 2009 vs 2010 i can see. Then i click on a month and it shows me a single value for that month. I want to see all 4/5 weeks in THAT month when i click on it. I have tried infinite options on the dimension level, promoting, demoting etc but i cant find the way to solve this. Does anybody have any ideas??!!

Thanks so much!!!

If i explained myself wrongly or not well enough please let me know.

S

Have you tried creating a Drill-down Group for this? You would need to have Weeks associated to your dates, which can be difficult since Weeks do not fit nicely into a month.

The Drill-Down Group would have Year, Qtr, Month, Week, Day or any combination thereof.

Thanks,

Aline
