How to connect Qlikview to Odoo(cloud based ERP system)

Hi All,

We are planning to use Qlikview to read the data from Odoo, cloud based ERP solution.

Does anyone have idea on how to connect Qlikview to a cloud based data source.

Could you please share some ideas on how i can read the data from Odoo ERP and also please share the prerequisites and connectors required.

Hi Viresh,

I dont think Qlik has developed a specific connector to Odoo ERP.

Can it connect through ODBC or OLEDB connections?

If so, qlik has those and is as simply as the wizard inside View or Sense make it.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't think that we can connect Odoo using ODBC or OLE DB conection.

Any idea on REST connector? Can we access the data from Odoo using URL's?

If there's an REST API for the ERP, yes you can use it. (I do'nt really know this ERP)

Doing a quick Google search, it appears there's a module for REST API https://www.odoo.com/apps/modules/8.0/rest_api/

In that case, you could use the REST Connector in Qlik and extract the data.

We achieved it by usign REST COnnector ver. 2.11 (Qlikview and Qlik Sense)

Which version of Odoo were you able to extract data from?

I'm on the same issue trying to get accounting information through the api, any information or links on how to query it will be appreciated.

I know this is very old post but Odoo Qlik Connector is available on Odoo App Store

This connector is made by TechFinna who already has its name in the market for Looker, Power BI, BigQuery, SpreadSheet .... connector for Odoo
