Does dashboard by default selection affect Nprinting task result ?

Hi All,

I have a Sales dashboard consisting of historical data of last 10 yrs.

The size of the dashboard is huge and hence we are planning to have a by default selection of the current year i.e. 2017 in order to limit the data on which the expressions will evaluate and decrease the time to load the charts/tables etc.

Now the same dashboard is being used for Nprinting task.

Now my question is will by default selection of current year in my dashboard affect my NPrinting tasks and its output in any way ??

Hi,

Am not sure about it,

but you can create a filter for Fiscalyear=2017 and add this filter to the task then it will work without any fail and gives the result for only 2017 year data

I want a default filter in my dashboard but not in the NPrinting task.

in dashboard if you have also you will add each object in designer right?

instead of that you can create a filter then automatically it will give the year what ever you want
