Im trying to create an Inyear selection option. The idea is that user can select Financial Year and then either full_year or in_year.

I have one date in my data and my financial year starts 1st April.

I've not used the new set Analysis but it looks like this could be the trick?

Thus Full year is the sum of all totals where date is within the financial year.

In year is project total / 12 and sum of project where months fall into this financial year.

eg. 01/12/09 - project A - 15,000

Full year = 15,000 for 2009/10 financial year

In Year = (15,000 / 12 ) * 4 ( as only 4 months are in 2009/10 financial year and 8 months in next financial year )

= 5000 09/10 and 10,000 10/11

Is this possible ?
