Multiple Selections Same Page

Hi All,

In power BI, I can show data and charts side by side for this year and last year. Basically, all I have to do is edit how each chart responds to a filter. Does QlikView support such feature? I know of set analysis, but I want my users to have the flexibility to choose which 2 years to compare.

Have you used Alternate states.

You have two options:

Allow the user to select a range of dates and compare the min date with the max date
Use alternate states to select two months independently

The second option can confuse users and you need to decide how all other selections will be handled. You will also need a separate date list box to select the other date.
