Data check before loading data in to QlikView

At the start of the project when we know about the source database/tables. What are all the checks that we need to do before loading in to QlikView. I mean the list of Checklists before loading into QlikView.

I always look below points before load into Qlikview

1) If Flat files, we don't need to check any

2) If DB, you must required the driver based on your source. To get those, We require Credentials on those DB's.
