      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Sharat,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;as i know creating a "Pivot table" is the best approach.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dimensions we need to took like below&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dept,Employee,Sum(Salary)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;go to properties of the Pivot table ,select the option&amp;nbsp; subtotals for Dept dimension so that it will create Department wise salaries.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Sol 2:-&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"Emp" and "Dept" Tables are associated with "Emp ID" always ,so no need for any join condition.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Note:-&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/U&gt;between those tables automatically Full outer join will create when Association is available.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;correct me if i wrong understood your query.&amp;nbsp; else close the thread.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
