Hello Master,

Could we set privileges in QVD files?

Ex. We have QVD that contain :

Number, Department

1, A

2, B

3, A

We want to set security in QVD level, so :

if user from department A open and reload QVD, they will have Number 1 and 3

if user from department B open and reload QVD, they will have Number 2

How to set section access in QVD files, not in QVW files?

So far I know you can't assign row level security in qvds, if a user sees the qvd all the data from that qvd can be loaded.

Qvds can be splitted in different files/folders to set permissions by department.

You can also have a layer with all data and a upper layer with splittted data where users can access.
