External action on a field

Hi,

I am trying to add an "On select " "open url" external action as a Field Event Trigger.

But the only actions I can choose from are Run Marco, Set Variable and Dynamic Update.

Why is the "Open url"-option not available?

1. Create a Button -> External -> OpenUrl
2. OnAnySelect -> Layout -> Activate Object (button created)

The only explanation I have for you is the following Help documentation, and my hunch is it does not work in Field trigger either, so we may have a documentation bug in this case...

Open URL

Opens the URL in the default web browser. (Not available as document and sheet trigger.)

Sorry I do not have anything better, the button should allow things to work, but I am not sure if that is going to work for you. Feel free to submit a support case on this one, as the documentation does not state it should not work, so we would need to submit to R&D for review and if they find it is unsupported, then we would need to do the documentation update... If you can provide an example app on the case, that will ensure things move pretty quickly as well.
