      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;That said, I usually try to keep QVDs under 2 GB, specially if you're using those QVDs to load some information from them and not the entire file.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regardless if you're reading just one record or the entire QVD QlikView will allocate enough memory for the entire file and will then free the memory that was not used in the load.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
