Hi all,

I'm a bit baffled that this is not possible, maybe I oversee something.
The topic name really says everything. I have a straight table chart on which I like to show the "Others" row, but do not want to show the "Total" row. I can set all expressions to "No Totals", but then the "Others" row is shown without values.

Hi Harry,

If am able to understand your problem you want to hide column in the straight table which is possible .Plz go to the presentation tab in the chart where you can select your column and hide the same.

Unfortunately that is not what I want. I want to see the "others" row and want to hide the "Total" row. These rows are aggregations (i.e. sum) over the dimension Product. If I deactivate Totals for the expressions, the "others" row is shown without values.

Sure. Here you go. My goal is to hide the "Total" row, but not the "others" row.

Actually what you are asking is possible but it involves some work on the scripting side. For example while loading the table pass the values other than Prod 1-4 to a column named Others.

So that when you create the table box object you can directly load Prod1,2,3,4 and others.

As well Select "No Totals" in Expressions tab for all the expressions in order to avoid the Total coming up.

Interesting idea, but not feasible in my case. In the real application I can select different countries and since the table is sorted by sum of sales, the order of the products does not stay the same. I need the automated QlikView mechanism to do this.

I use QlikView 9. I'll take a look and see if QlikView 10 provides the feature.

I think if you are using straight, you can use NO Total option , if you dont want to show total.

This Can be done in Properties > Expression.

Now select you field or Measure. and do "NO Total " under Total option available on right hand side.

In this way it wont show total at last.

Please revert back if it works .

Yes Harald.. Ashwin has rightly answered your question.

Properties > Expression.

Now select you field or Measure. and do "NO Total " under Total option available on right hand side.

I suggest: "Chart Properties"-> the "Dimension Limits" tab -> D-check "Show Total" in the "Options" Section below.
