QlikView Migration Issue

Hi All,

We recently migrated from QlikView server version 11.2 to 12.3

From AccessPoint , whenever any table was right clicked on old version , there were multiple options including Copy , Copy cell value to Clipboard etc , but i don't see these options with the new version.

Can anyone help?

Hi Swati,

From AccessPoint, the QlikView objects cannot be copied or Copy to cell value to Clipboard is not possible, because QlikView AccessPoint is client-ending browser for a dashboard which is not . editable. To change or edit or copy any object please open the QV dashboard in QlikView desktop, Copy or Copy cell value to Clipboard etc options are still there in QlikView 12.1 or higher version.

The options that I have mentioned used to be there even on AccessPoint , but on new server they are not visible.

The attached options are only available in from access point in QlikView 12.1 and above version.

Is there any way to enable old options (like Copy) in Qlik View 12?

The table values can be extracted in excel or CSV format from Access point. To copy an object you have to open the Qlikview document in development mode.

In Qlikview Development window open the qvw doc and then follow below steps:

GO to Settings->Document Properties->Security Tab

Then enable "Admin Override Security" check box.
