Rather difficult to say without the application to be able to look at the data model and chart props etc. If you are not able to attach, the best I can do is point you out to the Design Blog area to have a look at a few posts on Set Analysis there to see if that may help:

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Design-Blog/A-Primer-on-Set-Analysis/ba-p/1468344

You can use the following link to search for further posts in this area, was not sure what else you might be looking for, but there are other Set Analysis posts...

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Design-Blog/bg-p/qlik-design-blog

Regards,
Brett

Hello, I am trying to create a calculated Year-to-Date column in a pivot table chart, based on a received date, I am trying to find out how many items have been received (have a received date) from January of this year to the date that I am viewing the dashboard. Here is what I have and it is not working:

=Count({<[Received Date)]={"$(='<=' & Date(Today(), 'MM/DD/YY') & '>=' & Date(Today(), 'MM/DD/YY'))"}>} [Item])

Why would this not work?
