Special character issue while loading data from xlsx file in qlikview

Hi All,

I am facing issue while reading xlsx file if column contains '&' it reads text after '&'. as it is third party data download i can't do any changes in xlsx file. as it is i need to read in QLIkview. can you please help me how to read full decription while in qliview.

I have checked few scenarios mentioned below:
1) Convert file in xls then it will read full description.

2) I have checked column settings as 'Merge & Center' if i remove it will read full description.

BUt i can't change any setting as it is driectly downloaded from third party tool and need to read in QLikview.

Let me k now if you need more details about issue which i am facing .

You may try to load the xlsx per ODBC with a sql-statement. There are various postings about Excel & ODBC, here one as a starting point:
