I created a scatter chart in Qlikview to show the performance of two quarters by different group (as attached). My boss said it's not clear enough, ie. the arrow when the two points are too close together.

Any ideas to improve it?

e.g. is it possible to make the first quarter as dotted line instead of a complete circle and then remove the arrow?

Any idea is really appreciated.

Hi, maybe using some transperency in the first circle using ARGB() can help to clarify start and end point.
Hi, I'm busy now but if you upload a sample I can take a look in a few hours.

ARGB() is like RGB() but the first parameters is for transparency (a value from 0 to 255):
https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-cloud/Subsystems/CloudHub/Content/Sense_Hub/ChartFunctions/ColorFunctions/ARGB.htm

Maybe you need a trick like this:
https://qlikviewcookbook.com/2014/01/a-color-trick/
