Hello Folks,

I have a question regarding the Filter Pane in QS. (Running QS June 2018)

In Qlikview you could choose that the search field automaticaly adds Asterik for field Search.

So if you Search for something you could Type it in between the asterik, like this: *test*

Which worked fine, since the "normal" User did not know about this Search function.

In QS the Filter Pane doesnt have that Option, but already has a Algorithm which searches in between the Text.

But there seems to be some restiction:

Data:

LOAD * INLINE [

    Example

    123Test

    123teSt123

    123-test

    asdatestasda

    test

    test123

    test 123

    1345 test 1452

];

You can try it yourself and search for "test", if often doenst work the way a normal user would expect.

Of course with asertik it totally works fine, but a lot of users doesnt know that function.

So is there any option to add the asterik automatically like in Qlikview?

Greetz Lukas
