But after connecting to the Server via Open on Server option, Borrowed license is working as Analyzer. How do I convert this into Developer Level or How do i Borrow license as a Developer.

Thank you.

Developer license and CAL are different. CAL is only for enabling a client(it can be developer/professional/analyzer) to open files in server. Once you have borrowed a CAL from your server, your Analyzer will be able to open local files. But, for getting Developer level access, you need to get a QlikView Developer license separately.

Dear Richy,

Thx for that quick reply, you are right that CAL is only for Enabling a Client ( it can be dev / prof / Ana ) to open files in server. now Once we have borrowed a CAL from server, Borrowed CAL user will also have privilege to developed application locally. Previously i use to open document with Developer Privilege but once 15 days are over i could not able to open Document and i opt Analyzer option to get inside Qlikview. Since then i could open Document on server but accessing local file as a Analyzer.

Yeah, you are right. Since your trial period has expired you won't get the developer level, unless you have a developer license. Once you get the developer license, you can borrow the CAL from server for opening server files, and use developer license for working on local files.

Exactly!! For acccessing server files you need CAL. Developer license is not enough. If you have 1 CAL means, either a Developer or a Professional or an Analyzer can connect to the server.
