I'm doing what should be quite simple -- save a SQL table to a QVD table for later use.

It seems to work, but when I load the qvd table, there are no fields other than a single

field that is named the first line (xml header line) of the qvd file.

In the example below, I load the sql data int all_data and can see the fields after the script has run.

But the data for all_data_new contains only the header line from the qvd file.

ODBC CONNECT TO xxx;

all_data:

SQL select * from my_data;

Store all_data into ;

all_data_new:

Load * from ;

I think this might be because your syntax for loading is slightly incorrect. I think it should be:

LOAD * FROM  (qvd);

Thanks Vlad -- that was it -- what threw me was the examples in the manual did not have the (qvd) included
