      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;We don't have the option to write action on the bars ...you need to write the &lt;STRONG&gt;Trigger action on the field selection i.e whenever you select a bar it will in turn select a dimension (unless your build a bar chart without dimension&lt;IMG src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/emoticons/silly.png" /&gt;)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;based on the dimension selection execute the triggers&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Action on bar isn't possible, but action based on selection in location field is possible. But the problem is that anytime you select a location it would trigger the action. It won't be restricted to selection in the chart (unless you have it in an alternate state)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
