is it possible to create a straight table with out using dimension ...........only expressions please

I don't think so but you can hide dimension and show only expression in chart->Property->Presentation.

I think you can, but there will only be one line (the total line). And make sure all the expressions are set to "expression total" on the Properties | Expression tab.

yes you can but you need to hide the dimension from the presenatation tab.

Try with adding multiple expression and then check

Hello sunny,the requirement for my project is that i need to display 3 expression which has no dimension in a chart so i was wondering which chart will be best to display those expressions other then guage chart because

i need these to display in every first sheet of my dashboard ....displaying guage chart in very first sheet that is summary don't look great ...any alternate charts other then this straight chart or guage

There are several possibilites, maybe a bar chart, if the expressions are comparable?

Hi Sunny,

I've a need where user wants search icon to appear on each of dimensions (There are 3-5 dimensions) in the straight table. I was thinking converting them to calculated dimension or expression to show dimensional value. Expression will allow checking Searchable option on presentation tab. Alterative I had so far was to lay a search object above header row for each dimension use that individual dimension in the search object.

I may face a challenge mentioned in other discussion Input for search object appears quite far from object itself

Any thoughts?
