Hi,

I have created a QVW file using my license Client/Server. And i am trying to open the same Qvw file in the client/server which has the different license. Will it work or get corrupted?

Hi,

Your question is not clear, Can you pl rephrase your question.

Did u created application with one license and you want to open it in another licensed version?

Ans : if above is your question, you will be able to open.

Did u created your application with license key enabled security and you want to open it in another licensed version?

Ans : if you have given a permission (i.e if you have included his/her license key ) to the user from where you are opening then you would be able to open.

Thanks for your response.

Main objective of the Question is

Consider i have created a QVW file and somebody has hacked it . If they are able to open the QVW file in their QlikView environment.

Then how we can secure this interms in QlikView. Is there any options.

Hi XXX,

Untill unless you protect your application with security access, they would be able to access your application.

There are many ways of implementing security access to the applications. For more info on 'How to implement Security' refer Qlikview reference manual
