      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Laura&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have a look at the attached.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have created 2 new variables :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="padding-left: 30px;"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;vExclude&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; = concat( {$*EState} distinct '"' &amp;amp; $(='[Cure Status]') &amp;amp; '"'&amp;nbsp; ,',' )&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="padding-left: 30px;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 1.5em;"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;vSetExclude&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; = '{&amp;lt; [Cure Status] = E({&amp;lt;[Cure Status]={$(vExclude)}&amp;gt;} [Cure Status] ) &amp;gt;}'&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="padding-left: 30px;"&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="padding-left: 30px;"&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And added a new Alternate State:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;EM&gt;EState&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And s&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 1.5em;"&gt;et the existing &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;EM style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 1.5em;"&gt;Exclude Cure Status&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 1.5em;"&gt; List box to use this State &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;EState&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And added a test Straight Table &lt;EM&gt;State $&lt;/EM&gt;, with Expression&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="padding-left: 30px;"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;count ( $(vSetExclude) [Cure Status] ) &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="padding-left: 30px;"&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="padding-left: 30px;"&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This should, I hope, only show &lt;EM&gt;Cure &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Status&lt;/EM&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;where it has been excluded via the&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;EM style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;Exclude Cure Status&lt;/EM&gt; List box.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In your real objects similar set analysis via the variable &lt;SPAN style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;vSetExclude&lt;/EM&gt; will need adding.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also have a look at this blog post that gives an explanation and an example, albeit the example has other things irrelevant to your question.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="padding-left: 30px;"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;www.infinityinsight.com/blog/?p=270&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
