Left keep & Left Right Function

Hi Experts,

Left keep & Left Right functions are new to me, I just know that these two functions are used in scripting. And Removes uneccessry records say null ..But what they actually do ?

What is the purpose of using these functions in scripting??

Please explain me in detail And if i wrong make me correct.

Both are used for same purpose ,But

Left join:When u use this join between two tables the join occurs but the rows from the left table taken and from right table only matching rows.

Left keep:same as join ,but keeps the table separate in table viewer.
