Loading text fail

Hello All,

I am having an issue with the loading of some of my fields in Qlikview from excel.

I have a field name in excel : [raison_refus_rendez-vous]

and it contains the following information:

'Autres', 'Rendez-vous déjà fixé', 'Véhicule vendu', 'Entretien déjà effectué' and some blank cells.

However, the 'Véhicule vendu' is not showing at all while the example 'Autres' is showing as 10 in my count on Qlikview while there are 52 in my excel worksheet.

My expression is very simple: count([raison_refus_rendez-vous])

Is it a bug or an I doing something wrong?

It could be that Qlikview sees the values as the same. For example, if a data field loads 003 in the first line and 03 in a later line, QV will interpret them both as the number 3, and give them the default format of '000' (from the first line).

If you post an example file, you will get more specific and accurate help.

Hi Jonathan/Mayil,

I do not get the option to upload the excel file, i can only see upload video and photo so i enclosed a screen shot of my excel.

y‌ou have to switch to advanced editor (upper right corner of the editor) to see the upload file option.

Strange, is from the same file you are loading data?

please post your load script to understand.

I deleted the file and replaced it with a new one and it seems to work miraculously now.
