What does the $ do in SET Analysis

CELAMBARASAN — Fri, 17 Oct 2014 06:23:16 GMT

$ means applies current selection.

1 means Overall, ignores all selection

Description

Represents the full set of all the records in the application.

Represents the records of the current selection.

The set expression {$} is thus the equivalent of not stating a set expression.

$ is the Indentifier in Set Analysis in Qlikview

<> is the Modifier

Operators--> +,-,*,/

1 -> Whole Data Set

$-> Current Selection

$1-> Previous Selection

$_1 -> Next Forward Selection

Bookmark01-> Name or ID of the Bookmark

Group-> Alternate States Group Name
