If your source data is already sorted you don't need further order by clause, qv will load data row by row.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good morning All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 quick questions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) Is there any other way to order my data say in date order without using a resident load?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) How does qlikview natural load data from a database, say from an Excel spreadsheet, does it go row by row from say row number 1, meaning that if the data is already sorted from the source they may not be a need to order?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;H&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
