Counting Values in a Bar chart

Hi all,

My name is Jelger and i am just beginning with Qlikview to aid a customer of my companies scheduling application.

I have a question regarding combining imported formula outcomes in a Bar Chart.

for example:

I have a value per day: Monday 9:00 Tuesday 8:00 and Wednesday 7:30 (the values ar worked hours imported from a Scheduling application)

I'm trying to create a bar chart where per month/week/day the total number of worked hours are shown.

Can anyone point me in the right direction here? I’ve tried everything to count or sum the amount of worked hours but the values shown in the Bar Chart are not correct.

when I use =ONLY(expression) i get the right value in the bar chart but counting the different day values up won't work.

the Bar chart i mean is on the tab 'Dashboard'.

below the Bar Chart 'Uren per Periode' you find a table with te imported formula outcomes. The values from 'Realisatie Planning' for instance i want to count them per day, week, month.

I created a group with Month, Weekday and actual day. With this you can Switch the time-view in your Chart.

I've created a group with date(KEY) weekday and month, that works a lot better. butt still the outcomes in hours are not correct.

I think i'm not counting the values per day the right way...

Can you remove the Rangesum and try?

Also change the format to HH:MM

I can check if I see your app,but unfortunately its not working

you can switch the number format in the propositions under number. There you can choose time as a format.

strange, i openend the QVW i've uploaded earlier with no problem.

when i use only the expression (KDS_UrenGeerktDag_PLA) the chart is not doing anything at all.

It's getting a lot better. But still i can't manage to add up the vallues.

Did you try to sum up selected values, so you can trigger the Problem better?

Which field you are using in the dimension?

It seems years.

Now can you manually select few items and see the numbers if it is matching.

If not send me the results

Because we need to check while doing the sum of hours.

i'm using these fields in dimensions.

when i select a single value i doesn't match. Still i'm only getting right outcomes in the chart when i use ONLY(expression)
