sub-sheet query

hi im new to qlikview

my dashboard contain subsheets(i hope thats the right word for "sheets within sheets; which gets activated by clikcing the button to goto sheet2, lets say main sheet is A* and subsheet is A ") anyways, so when i make changes on A* like i am adding some features in A*, it shows and work properly but when i click the button for accesing A sheet it shows the same changes which has been made on A* sheet, how can i put restrictions on changes? becuase i dont want my sheet A to get effected by changes made in A* sheet.

there must be some options, kindly help me out.

PS i didnt do this work, im assigned a task by my lead.

Right click and detach objects used in sheet A or create data islands (data which are not associated with your existing data model) while loading data for sheet A.

Goto Textbox properties-->Layout-->Show --> Conditional. Write your condition on when to show/hide.

textbox has allready one condition, ive two textboxes, when i clikc one textbox the other one pops up and when i click it back it hides away so hey yeah i can put condition on the textbox which is controlling this. tell me what shall be the condition please

r u having personal edition if its so mean follow these steps

1.Create two text boxes named two different name or two different color for ur identification

2,right click any one of the text object-> action->external->set variable->give variable name as vshow and value as 1

in layout->conditional l->vshow=2

3.reverse it for another text box

action->external->set variable->give variable name as vshow and value as 2

in layout->conditional l->vshow=1

4.click any one text box it will display another text box and hide the current text box

no this is not what i am asking, ive already applied the properities, and its working properly. all i want is to hide it so that it shouldnt be seen in another level or sheet.
