    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You need to build a calendar table, use function Today() and some set analysis to define the range of YTD, Previous YTD, etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Some examples attached.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can find more about how to calculate YTD, ITD etc if you use search "YTD" in the community &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

What are the different functions that I can I use so that Qlikview will look at today's date and tell me what the corresponding trading day is.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need to use this result in a sales ytd computation for prior years, but ytd is not defined by conventional calendar dates, but trading days which are arbitrary.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
