Load / Display data based on user selection in AccessPoint

Hello Community.

I would like to Reduce Data/Keep Possible, Dynamically Update, or Reload data after a user opens the qvw in AccessPoint and makes a selection.

The need is based on a testing requirement to select any user's id and view the app as that user would see it. In some cases that means whole tables might be dropped; in others, certain values associated with a particular field would be excluded.

I this possible in AJAX? I've tried using a button action to dynamically update but have not been successful. Perhaps my statement is incorrect?

Any suggestions, direction, or examples would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ellen,

Reloading through Access point is not possible..

If you want to reduce data based on user then you should use Section access.

Yes, understood. Section access will be employed in production, but during test users need to select any user and view the qvw as if that user was the once who logged in originally. I'm thinking there must be a way other than creating a whole bunch of variables for this limited period of time.
