It's purposely built for this kind of geo-spatial analysis. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or implement an alpha shapes algorithm yourself.       <title>Determine area size using latitude and longitude points</title>
