Hello, I need some help with a statistical calculation and set analysis. I need to calculate the norm of a formula.

My formula is defined in a variable, I have also caculated the upper and lower bounds for my norm via variables. This is the formula I have:

=avg( {$<BankID=, $(vMetric)={">$(vMinNorm)<$(vMaxNorm)"}>} $(vMetric) )

I think my problem is with having a calculated value (vMetric) to the left of the = in my set expression. Is there a way around this? Is there a better way of calculating the norm of a calculated value?

Any suggestions would be appreciated, I'm stumped by this.
