Need to identify hardcoded values in qlikview reports

Hi all,

We have a requirement like need to identify hardcoded values in all the qilkview reports present in a system.

We know this can be done using XML search but more manual work involved.

Is there any way qlikview will read all the qlikview reports information(reports, expressions, queries, dimensions) and give the hardcoded values present in these reports.

Let me know if anyone need further details.

Hi,

Yes QlikView document it self is a XML data.

Open a Test Application.

Go to Edit Script.

Click on QlikView Files.

Select the QVW file for which you need expressions and variable data.

Reload the application.

And it will be with you.
