Mike,

in version 9, you can specify show condition for the chart columns, and you can use buttons with actions to set them on and off. Before version 9, the only way to hide or show columns is via macros.

cheers,

Hi there,

I have a requirement to show a total figure based on 5 values. We would like to provide them with the total value but then be able to let them "show" or hide 5 columns based on those values i.e

Total = 10, ValueA = 2, ValueB = 5, ValueC = 1, ValueD = 0, ValueE = 1

Is it possible to show the Total Value and then allow the user to expand the expression to show the 5 values in 5 columns. Very much like the Subtotals function in Excel.

Thanks for your help in advance

Mike
