It is possible to transfer state (i.e. selections) and apply that on top of the state of the other document. So maybe you can use selections in some way instead of a variable. Maybe add an extra table for just that purpose.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have two QV documents(QV1 and QV2) and each file have multiple sheets. Now, I have a button in QV1 wherein on clicking it returns a value 3 of a variable=vValue also i assigned an action 'Open QlikView Document(QV2)'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What i want is: On clicking it I should navigate to QV2 and the value of the variable vValue should be 3.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope I explained what I want.....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Plz do reply if anyone has answer to my question.
