find data from a file

hello

attached a excel file

first sheet is data :

part is the part number

date is the date of the transaction

inx is the line no for same date

cost is the item cost

second sheet is item :

there is a list of items , and dates

I need to bring the cost of the part

from the nearest date from the data file

in many cases there is no cost for the part on the day required

i hope you can help
