Select in Hierarchy using Action

I have a hierarchy view of data where the fields are like REVs Group#REVs (Day) & REVs Group#REVs (YTD) for example, so this allows me to show the data in a tree view with REVs Group as the group name and then REVs (Day), REVs (YTD) as the values within that group.

What I want to do is to automatically select a number of those values using an action, but I can't figure out how to do that, I have tried:

REVs#REVs (Day)

(REVs#REVs (Day))

'REVs#REVs (Day)'

'("REVs#REVs (Day)")'

None of those work.

Any thoughts?
