Group objects and make one always on top

Hi all,

I have a chart that I want to use in combination with a list box, but I need to be able to minimize these objects. So I was wondering if there is a way to group these two objects so that they move (and minimize) together, and also to make the list box always on top, so that even when I click on the chart the list box is still visible.

Hi Tony

The grouping part is not possible in QlikView up to version 9, I have read the pre-release notes for V10 and there is a hint that this feature might be provided in that version!

As far as "Always on Top" is concerned, this is pretty easy, if you go to the chart/list box properties and look at the layout tab you have a layer number on the right, make sure that the list box is Bottom and the Chart is Top and this will sort it for you.

In addition, you can use Actions to Minimize and restore multiple objects at the same time, creating an illusion of a group. You just need to find an appropriate trigger to connect the actions to...
